Media Machines: Media Machines, Inc. is a leading provider of Web-based, 3D virtual world making tools and content creation services. Our Flux technologies are based on an open Web architecture using open standards such as HTML, JavaScript and X3D.
Since 2003 we have been delivering our award-winning Web 3D technologies to private and government clients around the world for simulation learning, virtual world and visualization applications. And over the last year we have optimized our Flux technology platform for mass market applications such as virtual worlds, entertainment, games and interactive widgets.
The people behind Media Machines include pioneers in real-time 3D, as well as experts in ecommerce and consumer markets. In fact, our CEO Tony Parisi co-invented 3D on the Web, first with the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) back in 1994. Later, he was instrumental in developing, the ISO-ratified standard for networked 3D graphics on the Web. Our Flux technology platform pairs X3D with Ajax (we call Ajax3D). This allows developers to model, animate and script interaction for just about anything in 3D and for distribution to the largest possible audience on the Web.
