The story about the generation of this image is a bit of fun. The idea of this guitar model began when I was talking to a friend, also a fan of Steve Vai, a Grammy award-winning musician. During our conversation, I was showing him a few 3D works and he asked me to make Steve Vai’s guitar in 3D to put on his desktop.

The initial concept of my friend’s request was to just make the guitar and show it in a cool camera angle, like in a professional ad, but my concept was a kind different and a bit more complex. The idea was to represent Steve’s guitar in the moment before entering onto the stage, a backstage scene.
