3DXO.com is a project of xyberdyn.com and was started in 2001 under the name cygad-x.de. 1 year later cxgad-x.de was integrated into the CYGAD.net network and was henceforth known as CYGAD's 3DXtra. After a re-orientation of the CYGAD network in 2008, CYGAD was spun off and and 3DXO.com was born as the new home of CYGAD's 3DXtra.

Since the founding of this web site it was always our goal, 3D interested users a wide range of high-quality 3D content and resources to offer. We do not want be the quantitative greatest 3D Portal/Directory on the Internet. We want to be the best 3D Portal/Directory or we will work on it. Each click a hit and every download a success, so it should be. To measure the success we have added to each entry the ability to rate these. Rate our contents and help the 3D community.
